Re: Jamaica
We just went for our honeymoon to couples swept away in Negril Jamaica. We loved tit! No complaints at all - It was a couples only resort though, not sure about infants but there was a beaches family resort near by

Re: Jamaica
I did not care for Jamaica at all. Wasn't impressed with the beaches, food or attractions. =( Likely I won't be going back.

Re: Jamaica
We've been to the RIU Montego Bay (family friendly). We loved the resort and the restaurants.

Re: Jamaica
We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon. Stayed at the RIU in Negril. Beaches were beautiful, weather was great. It was nice, but not one of my favorite Caribbean locations.

Re: Jamaica
Went to sandals Montego Bay & Sandals Grande Ochio Rios; plus visited for 1 day while on a cruise last year.
I think overall if you're staying no the resort it's beautiful. Make the effort to visit the falls depending on if you're in ocho rios or not. Can't say much about Negril. Other than that; didn't find much to offer outside the resorts the two times i went. On the cruise; we just went to the falls; and then walked around the shops near the cruise pier and got some REALLY strong rum punch!
Oh-the beef patties are amazing! I would go back just for them!!

Re: Jamaica
I stayed in Negril last July and I don't plan on going back. The beach was nice, the people were really nice but I wasn't impressed with the hotel at all and it was a high rated hotel. The biggest downfall was the 1 1/2 or so ride from the airport to Negril. Yes we did go during the rainy season but that is when I normally go away every year and this years weather there was rain by 3/4 every day and even when it stopped the sun never really came back. And I found it to be very buggy. I couldn't walk through the resort, esp at night, without feeling like I was covered in mosquitoes

Re: Jamaica
I personally love Jamaica...I went with my girlfriends back in 2003 and it was amazing. At the time* Not really sure what the Jamaican is doing right now as in $$$...it was incrediably CHEAp we did every sport they had to offer..every excursion and it was a fun filled vacation. I stayed at the Whydam in Montego Bay it was a VERY nice resort.
