Kindle vs Kindle DX
Would you buy a regular Kindle now or just go for the Kindle DX? I was all ready to order a DX when I realized that the price difference would pay for a new camera lense that I want! Any issue with screen size on the regular Kindle? Is the manual rotation annoying or is it just easy to do?
Yes, I am considering the Nook and the iPad also but I am leaning heavily toward a Kindle. I ruled out the SONY reader.

Re: Kindle vs Kindle DX
I thought the kindle dx was just a bigger version of the kindle? I have the regular kindle and have never had a problem with it. Its page size it a little bit bigger than a paperback.

Re: Kindle vs Kindle DX
I have the regular Kindle and I love it. I think its the perfect size- the DX screen just seemed too big to me. The font size and orientation are super easy to change. I'd go for the Kindle and get that new camera lens!

Re: Kindle vs Kindle DX
I know you said you ruled out the Sony Reader...I bought the sony reader a while ago, but stopped using it because i didn't want to buy every single book i wanted to read but, I recently started back up with it since i can get books from the library with it. I dont think the kindle is compatiable that.

Re: Kindle vs Kindle DX
I've had my kindle for a few weeks and I'm happy with it. Size-wise, sometimes I feel like I don't move my eyes from side to side all that much.
I agonized over a kindle vs. ipad. Chose kindle in order to read in direct sunlight. I'm trying to hold off on buying an ipad until the next generation.
