It's one of those days where you're not sure if your voice is working... You know - you ask a simple question and get blank stares in return... someone makes a mess during a project and not a single person in the room fesses up to it... stuff that you taught them on Friday, they have ZERO recollection of this morning... you have to give the same directions over and over and over and over and over and over and they STILL are not sure of what to do.
(oh, and these are 7th and 8th graders - they are MORE than capable of following directions and answering simple questions )
I literally feel as if there are classes in which I am not speaking English! Last week my honors class acted as if they had never seen the routine of copying the "do now" which we have been doing since Sept.
My class was like this all day! It's like all of a sudden since It's getting warmer out they just forgot that they can't randomly talk to people across the room while I am teaching!
The best is when they whisper to a friend WHILE LOOKING AT ME!! I will never figure that one out!!

How about after they talked while looking at you, you point it out and they say "what I wasn't talking"
This was my day exactly also ugh and add on the fact that my classroom was disgustingly hot and humid..it wasnt a good day
