Monday QOTD
So....I dont want to get too far ahead of ourselves but for QOTD purposes lol...heres my question...
When you have your first LO do you want to try again right away. Do you want your LO's close in age or far apart and why...??
For me I always wanted to bang them out 1,2,3, but I think I want time with my LO's individually, and sometimes because they are close in age doesnt necessarily mean they are close KWIM?

I would want our LO's to be a few years apart-maybe like 2-3 year age difference. So after having baby #1, we'll probably wait at least a year until we start trying again.

I would like to start trying for another one once my LO turns 1 just because you never know if its going to take you a long time to get pregnant again plus I would like them close in age. But as far as my DH I dont know if hes gonna go for that  He will probably want to wait until the first is atleast 2 so who knows

I would love to have our kids back to back. as soon as the doc says we can  again,we will back it trying. No more putting off time for us

Thats what my DH said , we would like time in btw them but who knows how long it would take....so we should start right away after the first

I am torn - in some ways I want them close in age so they can be friends. But my sisters and I are all 4 years apart - when you are young it is a big age diff (esp since it is 8 years from the oldest to youngest) but it was nice to be in HS and college all alone. Now that we are older, we are close, so the age diff doesn't matter.
I am thinking maybe I want them 2 years apart??

Seeing as how long it has taken thus far to TTC #1, I think that we will start trying shortly after LO turns 1 yrs old. My sister and I are almost 3 years apart and so are DH and his brother.
Growing up my sister and I were not that close but now we are best friends and I know that typically happens among sibliings. I really want my LO's to be semi-close in age so that when they get into their 20's they will become close like my sister and I did.

Us too. I grew up close in age with my sisters and I would want that for my LOs. Also, we can't wait too long because of our ages.

I think based on my age I would like to try right away. TTC is a process and I am not getting younger and I don't want my eggs to be all used up.

i think i'd wait til LO #1 is at least a year before trying again. 2-2.5 years apart would be ideal.

ITA I feel like I've put this off too long already and its been 11mo and no BFP, if I'm lucky enough to get preggers at all, we'll jump right back in.

I plan on waiting about 2 years... The biggest reason is I think it would be too hard to take care of a little baby while pregnant.. though I wouldn't want to wait too much longer than that because I want them to be close. My brother and I are 5 years apart and have absolutely no relationship.

We originally thought we'd spread kids out a little but now that we realize it's taking awhile, we may start trying soon after. Who knows once we have our own LO though!

Well if it were up to me we'd have only one but DH is completely against having LO be an only child. But we'll probably wait a bit maybe start trying once LO is 2.5 or so and hope that we have another so they are only about 3.5-4 years apart.

I want our LO's to be close in age. My sister and I are less than a year apart and I have a brother that is 7 years younger so I would rather have our children without any significant gaps
