can anyone recommend a counselor? (bumping for more recs please)
i'd prefer a female... port jeff station area. i don't mind traveling a little, just not more than 15 minutes or so preferably. thank u.
bumping... i never did follow through, but i would like to and the recs i got do not participate with my insurance.

I HIGHLY recommend Gail Michele of Access Counseling in Hauppauge ( I believe this would be a perfect location for you). She is wonderful, so compassionate and calming!

(Well known in the Rocky Point-Port Jeff area) Dr. Julie Welischar, OBGYN always recommends Phyllis Buncke 689-5390. I think she is in the Rocky Point area.

yes, i would consider a social worker... and even a male at this point. i will check to see if they participate with my insurance. thank you.
eta - neither one accepts my insurance. and i don't have $80-100 a session to lay out, out of pocket
anyone else?
