Can anyone recommend a counselor in Suffolk for IF?
I would like to look into this. It would have to be in Mid-Suffolk though, its hard enough for me to make my acup and RE appointments. Thanks!

I know LI-IVF had 2 they recommend who are social workers but who have both been thru IF themselves. I wasn't impressed w/ the woman we met with, but I can Fm you the other woman's phone number and name. I'm not positive off the top of my head where she is but I know the one we saw is in Port Jeff.

Yeah, the best approach may be to go through your RE because I'm sure your practice can recommend a few people who specialize in this area. I found my therapist through a good friend who is a social worker. He knows me, my personality and gave me a referral to a woman whom he thought would be a great fit, and it's working out wonderfully for me

The woman that we saw was in Smithtown and was recommended by LIIVF...she has been through the process and we found her very easy to talk to. Let me know if you need her info.

We saw Harriet Rovner-Ferguson in Smithtown. Her tel# is (631) 979-2775. I liked her - I found her very helpful. Good luck

I used\use Gail Michele of Access Counseling in Hauppauge. She was truly wonderful and I still see her now. I highly recommend her. I am now pregnant after one cycle of IVF with a little girl and due in October.
