What did YOU wear to your child's 1st birthday?
I want to wear a dress but I am thinking that a shorter dress might be tough since I'll be chasing or playing with kids all day. Did anyone do a maxi-style dress? I don't own one and was thinking of leaning this way.
My DC's party is at a restaurant.

I wore jeans and a sweater. It was at my parents house in January.

OMG!! Sooo funny you posted this b/c I've been thinking the SAME EXACT THING 
I picked out a really cute sundress with the colors of the party.
I know...
Then I thought... hey, Mason isn't walking yet so I'll be on my knees with him a lot and we're also having a music person to entertain the kids, which means sitting on my knees on the ground. Should I get cute capris and nice top. 
Was at Annie Sez the other day and didn't see anything. Gotta keep looking or I'll stick with the sundress.

DS- a maxi dress- it was on the beach in Mexico
