How far along were you when you
confirmed you were PG with a blood test?
I am not scheduled for an appointment until next week.
Also with the blood test, do they tell you right there if you are PG or do they call you the next day?

I was seeing an RE, so I found out at a little over 4wks.
They don't tell you right away...I think they called me later that day to give me my numbers.

They sent me for blood when I went ot my first appt but I didn't need that to confirm because the doctor also did an ultrasound at the first appt and we saw the sac.

Same here and at my 7wk appt, they just did a urine test and not blood to confirm.

I went for my first appointment at a little over 6 weeks, they scheduled me to come back the following week for an Ultrasound and then sent me for all of my initial blood work at the lab, by then the pregnancy was already confirmed by the ultrasound so in my case the blood work was really for all of the other testing they performed.

I had a blood test at exactly 4 weeks (day after I POAS). I got the results the following day.

I never went for blood work when I was pg. Just a sono at 8 weeks.
Same for DDs 1 and 2. I had the battery of blood work done around 10 weeks.
This time, since I had miscarried last year, I requested a beta test...so I think I was around 14 dpo when I did the first one. That said, doubling betas isn't a guarantee against miscarriage. From what I've seen on these boards, sometimes the less you know, the better you are...

I was seeing a RE so I was about 4 weeks along. My apt was at 7am didn't get the call back till later that day. After 3pm.

For 1st pg I was seeing an RE and I was about 33 days when I called them cause I didn't know if I should take my clomid or not. I went in and they did a pee test in the office and it came back negative. They took blood and I went home adn they called me back about 3 hours later and told me I was pg.

I never did a blood test to confirm. The POAS tests are so accurate that doctors typically accept that as confirmation. Hence why they don't typically see you for your first appt until 6th, 7th or 8th week.

I got blood work done at my RE's office at 9DPO. I had taken a HPT that morning at got a faint BFP.

Depends on what your doctor does. With my first pregnancy, I POS at 5 weeks and got a positive, but he would not see me until 8 weeks when I got a sonogram in the office and saw the heartbeat.
I am at a new practice now and I POS at 6 weeks and they saw me the next day and took blood. I called in the next day to confirm.
