how much does your 1 month old eat?
my twins are eating anywhere from 4-5 oz every 4 hrs(bottle feeding)...my MIL told me this is way too much...i have their 1 month check up tuesday...im only feeding them that much because after they are done eating they always try to suck their hands like they are still hungry...am i over feeding??

DD ate 3-4 oz every 2.5-3 hours at that age. Did you try feeding less formula, more often? I don't think that its too much, at that age, you should feed on demand.
she is now 7 weeks and eat 4-5 oz every 3 hours.

When DD was 1 month was probably same amount 3-4 every 3-4 hours

DS is two weeks and eats 4oz. every 4 hours. at night, he goes 5 - 6.5 hours
he had his 2 week appointment today and gained 1lb. 2oz in 10 days but the doctor said he is perfect, perfect amount of formula
 i think they are right on!

I was offering 3oz. Pediatrician said I should offer more and let him have what he wants. He will reject the bottle when he's full. I was worried about overeating, they said they cannot overeat that young.
He started to take 3.5-4.5 oz, and hungry every 3 hours like clockwork.
But every baby is different, just feed till they are full is the recommendation I always get for DS.

At one month my son was drinking about 4oz every 3 hours. As he has moved closer to 2 months he started taking 5oz.
