I feel like an IDIOT

A girl was out of work for a while she was not feeling good during her pregnancy and I went up to her b/c I hadnt had a chance to congratulate her...and went I told her congrats she told me she lost her baby. I feel like an idiot. I remember when I came back to work and that happened to me! I must have made her feel terrible!

awww. I'm sorry. I'm sure she knows that you didn't mean anything by it; Esp coming from someone who's had similiar experiences.

Honestly... this type of thing happens to me more often than I'd like... but I NEVER really get angry WITH THE PERSON... more the situation. So I'm sure she's not thinking you are terrible or beating you up in her head the way you probably are in your own head.

I know you feel guilty because you know what it's like to be in her shoes and it sucks to be the person who said that and brought it up. But its OK. These things happen and your heart was DEF in the right place.
