baby measuring 2 weeks behind

Baby is measuring 2 weeks behind on ultrasound. I am high risk, and they have been checking me every 2 weeks for growth, because fetal growth problems are a risk for someone with my complications. At 23 weeks 6 days she measured exactly 23 weeks 6 days, at 26 weeks, she measured 24 weeks 0 days so she made no progress at all in that 2 weeks....its been a week of eating like a cow, and I have not gained any weight at all. I have another ultrasound on the 21 to check for any progress, but now I feel my belly is getting smaller..it seems to be a lot smaller today than it has been..I dont even look pregnant, and I am 27 weeks with #2.

This happen to anyone else?

Re: baby measuring 2 weeks behind

I am measuring behind as well and my belly is a joke -size wise.
I am 38 weeks and I seriously have the belly of someone who is around 28 weeks.
The growth sonos are showing she is putting on weight though-but she is still in the lower percentiles.

The Dr said it isn't a concern as long as she continues to put on weight steadily.

Just keep up with the growth sonos and see what your Dr says- sounds like they are on top of it.

It's hard not to worry- but remember that some babies are just smaller than others- and they freak us out over every little thing!
