The midwives I go to don't estimate the weight. But that sounds big to me. Pregnancy.org says: 33 wks LMP (31 wks gestation) Baby weighs 4.23 lbs or 1918 grams. Baby is 17.2 inches or 43.7 cm long.

M 34 weeks email from baby center estimates a 34 week baby to be 4.5lbs (this is a generic email, not "me" specific.)

A little above average. But fine. I had small babies (both at 6 lbs.) and they weighing at an estimate of a 2.5 pounds at that week.

Re: How big was your baby measuring at 33 weeks
I think I was measuring about 5, 5 1/2 at that point too.
Now, at 38 weeks, I'm measuring roughly 7 lbs, 7 oz, but my dr. said to give or take a lb on each side, so the baby could anywhere between 6 1/2 and 8 1/2 lbs.
You sound like you are measuring just fine to me!!

Re: How big was your baby measuring at 33 weeks
Ryan was 4lb6oz at my 32wk growth sono. He was estimated to be high 7s, or 8lbs at birth - he was born 10 days early at 7lbs 8oz so they were right.
