I would feel the same way!!! You held out better than I would!! I would have probably went off and would have to tie my hands behind my back so I did't slap her in the mouth!!! So KUDOS to you!!!

to you for not saying something to her. I am not so sure I would have been able to hold my tounge. And what is even worse is that her BF is ok with her behavior. My DH would kick my *** if I smoked/drank while I was PG.

Thanks guys!! I feel so much better that I am not the only one who would feel this way!! I was in such a bad mood the entire time but didnt say anything. Part of me felt really jealous because she is PG and wasnt even trying (unless it was on purpose b/c her boyfriend has $$). Just being honest!! I cant believe her boyfriend didnt say anything but maybe because we were there. I really cant believe the amount of cigarettes this girl had. She even asked me when we were going to TTC. So annoying. When I was PG I was drinking one glass of milk a day and eating extremely healthy and was afraid to eat fish. I dont even like to drink during the 2WW.

That's disgusting and I would be completely and utterly appalled!! Knowing me, I probably would've said something in a less than tactful way to make her feel like cr@p for having so little regard for her unborn child. I swear, IQ tests should be given before someone is allowed to get pregnant. That's just horrible that she is smoking and drinking. Why would you risk your unborn child's health like that????

That's horrible!!!! I would've said something and not in a tactful way. I would've made her miserable. No pregnant woman should be smoking or drinking. Who the F does she think she is??? That's not just HER body, it's her child. UGH. I think people like that should have their children taken away from them because they obviously can't care for the child once they're born if they can't even care for them before they are.

That pisses me off to no end. It's one thing to choose to have a glass of wine a week towards the end of pregnancy (I won't be, but I understand some Docs say it's ok) but to smoke throughout is unforgivable. They should have a separate section of hell for people who care so little about their unborn children.

That is disgusting!!!! It irritates the hell out of me when I am trying so hard to get pregnant and other are totally oblivious to the fact that it happens to them.

These people nauseate me. I was the same way for the time I was pregnant before my mc. I didn't drink... I wasn't even around smoke. I was soooo good with that... and I was careful of what I ate as well.

I think what this girl was doing is just terrible. And I can't believe that BOTH new parents are a couple of DOPES!! I mean He is to blame too... HELLO!?!!! between the two of them they don't even have a full brain. How in this world do you not know better?

Things always do work out for the undeserving! Thats why I was so upset this weekend. I have no clue that people did things like this. She is really not my type of person and her boyfriend is a smart guy but since they have only been dating a few months they are still in that honeymoon phase where they are lovey dovey all the time and can do no wrong. (Would really like to see how this plays out in a few years.) Was that rude? Ha!!!!!

That is awful. I give you so much credit for not saying anything, you are a much stonger willed person than I am. As more months go by without a BFP, I am getting more sensitive to hanging out with my friends whoa re either preg or have a LO. This weekend I went to my best friends son's 1st birthday and there were babies everywhere. To make a long story short, I did not handle it very well.

wow that sounds similar to my SIL that I have wrote about several times. She is now currently almost 6 months still smoking rumors of smoking pot. The thing that gets me is that she got pg on purpose. It is so frustrating because they don't deserve it.

I am impressed you didn't say anything! I think it is disgusting and so aggravating as people are trying so hard to be pregnant that some people are given a gift they clearly don't appreciate and are willing to risk harming it.


As for generally hanging out with preggos, I am so happy for my friends that are pregnant and love to see them so happy, but an embarassing ugly side of myself is so jealous (in part because each of my friends that are currently pregnant have told me they got pregnant the month they came off BCP) that sometimes I find it hard to put on a happy face.

That would make me so mad!! One time I was working a wedding and there was a VERY preggo woman drunk - I was horrified watching her. I asked the bartender why he was serving her.
