The Bad News: COBRA SUBSIDY HAS ENDED.
Effective May 31, 2010 the COBRA subsidy provided by ARRA, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, has ended.
I am seeing some economic recovery in the Central & West Coast in my industry but I was crossing my fingers for the unemployed that they'd extend it.

I haven't needed it yet, DH is in the Union and has been OK with keeping up hours so far...but man it sux. I was hoping to have it as a fall back because it's flipping expensive.

We missed it by a few days. DH got laid off like 3 days after this ended.

does this mean anyone on it, loses it? or if your term'd and enroll in cobra after 5/31 you can't get it?
