Day Trips or activities for 3 year old
Being a teacher I'll have the summer off with DD who is 3. Does anyone have any good ideas of what we can do or outdoor day trips we can go to? We've been to the Game Farm and Atlantis. Just wanted some other ideas!

Orlys treehouse is Closed forever:( However I did find out that Darlene Graham has moved her music class from Orlys Treehouse to Once Upon a Treetop and its Cheaper!!!

Atlantis Aquarium
Long Island Children's Museum
White Post Farms
Once Upon A Treetop
Bounce U or Bouncers & Slydos (both have open play hours throughout the week)
Holtsville Ecology Center (free with small donation)
Venetian Shores Sprinkler Park in Lindenhurst
or
Tanner Park Sprinkler Park in Copiague (Town of Babylon Residents get in with Beach Pass, others can pay day use rate)

It's far, but can definitely be a day trip. The Crayola Factory in PA. We took my oldest when he was 3 and he still talks about it. We intend to take both boys this year. Crayola Factory

I know it's a bit more of a hike for , but we went to Lake Compounce in CT yesterday and is was great! They have so many kiddie rides and whole water section and lake. We didn't even do the water stuff because it was a bit cool and we still managed to close down the park.
