IVF with Dr. B

I'm gearing up for my first IVF with Dr. B. And was wondering how certain things were done. When does he give you the protocol and calendar? I'm less than a week a away from starting to stim and I still don't have one. Also, he doesn't have a "ivf class" or "ivf coordinator" so how did you guys learn how to give yourself the meds. (mixing the meds, which needles go for what, etc) He said Linda (never met her) will be "going over" it with me at my next appointment, but it sounded more of a 5 min meet n greet. Last question, If you had any questions during stims, especially after hours,who did you contact, him via email, phone ? Sandra?
Guess im just feeling overwhelmed already and ill prepared Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated !!!thanks

I had a different re for ivf but i was only given a calendar when i was on bcp... if you want to fm me your email addresss.. i wrote my own calendars by my appts and what i was told to do. I would me more than happy to send them to you. First time i stimmed 13 days and second time it was only 8 days. Also one has ganerilex on it and one has micro lupron on it.

Hi!!

I sent you a FM. I'm starting my IVF cycle with Dr B. I saw him yesterday for a sono (it was my last day of BCP). He handed me a print out calendar with all the details and my point of contact for any questions is Sandra. I start stimming with Follistim on 7/4.

We've done IVF before (with NSUH) so we're familiar with the injections and didn't have to have a training. You should definitely sit down with someone (for more than 5 mins) and get an understanding of everything.
