Interview Start Time ..?

I am going to be away for a week at the end of July. I have an interview tomorrow and if they ask when I can start what should I say..? I can start right away, but then will they let me take off.? or should i just be honest and tell them I can start right away but I do have a trip coming up that I can not change ? Any advice girls?

i would let them know that its a family trip that has been scheduled for awhile etc.... most companies ive dealt with were ok.... if you tell them upfront you will most likely be able to take the time off for the trip... if you spring this on them after getting hired you might be under a probation period where you can not take time off.....

One step at a time.

If you get that far with the questions, tell them it's their choice, you can start right away and then take your vacation or start when you get back.

Good luck with the interview..don't let that get in the way of nailing the job.

If they really want you, they will be flexible.

I wouldn't tell them about the vacation until there is an offer on the table.

I was interviewing and didn't tel lthem I had a family vaction the last week of July until the offer was made. They had no problem with it and due to their own internal scheduling I'm not starting until after the vacation but they were fine with it even if I started before the vacation.
