have you girls ever...
gone onto the Birth Story board?
I ventured over there for the first time today and it brought me to tears, happy tears because I was picturing myself at that point and how happy I will be when I get the chance to give birth.
It's so much better reading those stories than all the bad horror stories we unfortunately post all the time.
I think it helped me a bit.

When I was going through my IF issues, I used to go there. I think your attitude of WHEN it happens for you rather than IF it happens for you is VERY healthy and that same attitude helped me get through the hardest times after my 3 miscarriages.

I never go over there.
Not because of anything MC related.
but because although we do want to have a baby and are actively trying... the thought of the actual birth process freaks me out to no end. I'm MUCH better off being more in the dark about the things that go on.... or i'll totally freak myself out even more. So for my own sanity... I need to stay away.

I always did wile I was still TTC. I would browse Birth Stories, Pregnancy Board, and even Parenting ( mostly to look at baby pics) . It's great to focus on the wonderful things that will soon come to you!
I agree, as much as it's reality that many women have miscarriages....it can become overwhelming. It's great to hear all the happy endings on Pregnancy & Birth Stories and not just all the sad news.
I am sooooo glad you are doing better!!! I can't wait for you to join me on the PREGNANCY BOARD. I have a great feeling it will be soon enough!!!

I'm with you on this one! I'm terrified of the actual birth process. My friend tells me to watch baby story to get prepared, but I think igonorance is bliss osmetimes! lol

I feel the same way, but on occasion, I have read the board in order to have an idea about what to expect when my time comes. I'll read one story, then I'm done for a few months!
