Dr.s Appt. - What should I do - UPDATE

So, when we found out we were PG I made an appt. for next Monday. I called this week and told them that it was over and asked if I should still come in. They said yes, and so I asked to make it my annual as well.

DH and I want to try again right away. I know some say to take a cycle off but I was very early, so I think my body is fine. ANYWAY, I got a +OPK this morning and so we plan on this weekend. Should I cancel the appointment??

ETA: I went to the doctor today and she said everything looks great. They did a sono and everything is clear. She also did a pap and said even though we it wouldn't affect the results. She also said the m/c could just be a fluke and it happens 1 in 4 of all early pregnancies.

I would go to the appt anyway just to make sure you're fine.

And when I had my first m/c at 6.5 wks my OBGYN said I didn't have to wait to TTC so we could go ahead and try whenever we wanted. The only reason for waiting would be for a more accurate due date if you do get preggers on this cycle.

hope we both get our healthy BFPs soon...I think we deserve it

I am wondering if I should cancel though b/c we will this weekend and I am supposed to have a pap at the appt. on Monday. Is that OK?

hmm I know they say you shouldnt before a pap smear but can you go the dr. anyway for bloodwork and a sono and have a pap smear done at another appt? -- or let the dr. know you had intercourse over the weekend and they can decide if it's a good idea to do a pap smear or not.

either way I would def. see the dr.
