Nanny/baby nurse

Hello! I am 17 weeks pregnant with twin Chat Icon. I also have a 1-year-old DD.

My daughter will be 18 months when the twins come, and I am definitely going to need help.

Can anyone recommended or suggest where I would begin to look for a nanny or baby nurse?

Any recommendations, suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Michelle

Good idea! My DH and I have 6 week old Chat Icon Chat Icon and we would have gotten a baby nurse, but, instead we moved in with my mom.
The first 3 weeks are really trying- I was completely drained from carrying for 37 weeks and then the vag delivery.
My DH agreed we could not have done it solo.
Sorry, I don';t have any rec's but I wanted to say that I think a baby nurse is a very good idea.
Have a healthy pregnancy and yeah for Chat Icon Chat Icon

Lady - You had a vaginal delivery? I am so excited to hear that. I am hoping to do the same as long as everything looks good. Where did you deliver?

I was hoping someone would have a recomendation, if not we will probably use an agency.

just as an fyi you may want to post this question on the parenting board since there are more parents that read the board and also i am sure even if they did not have twins someone may have used a baby nurse

Overall my pregnancy was very good- no morning sickness, no GDiabetes, no hight BP, etc. i gained a total of 41 lbs.
Baby A was 90% of the time head down and ususally Baby B was not for the sonos, then at the 32 week sono- both were head down and remained in that position. If you can I would recc vag delvy. My dr was a big advocate of vag delvy.

I delivered at LIJ on the Friday of Fathers day weekend and I'll tell you, I have nothing but great things to say about LIJ, they treated me super well- everyone from the food delvy girl to the doctors - everyone was great, especially the nurses. It also was on the quiet side.
