So, I never really have my own LIRR stories

but my comment about Silly Bandz got me thinking about another train story:

A guy and a girl were in the 2 seater on the opposite side of the aisle from me. The guy was very chubby and although I never saw him standing, I think he was wearing the "pants on the ground" style. He was leaning into the girl as they were making out. I could see he was wearing South Park underwear. The elastic band actually said "South Park." Google it, there are several of them but I didn't find the exact ones. I just couldn't take that makeout session seriously. I mean, SOUTH PARK UNDERWEAR and you want a girl to take you seriously, or go past 1st base? It was all South Park and flab, very pale flab. There may have been a mole also Chat Icon but I looked away instead of confirming what I thought I saw.

While its a funny story, I feel badly that he was overweight. I'm pretty sure you didn't mean to make fun of his weight issue though.

Huh? I guess maybe I am missing something. I don't see any humor in this story at all.

I am pretty sure the OP didn't mean to make fun of what you assume she was. I feel she added the detail for the effect. I think it was mostly about the spongebob boxers....at least, that is what I hope.

I know I have some flab.

And maybe a mole or two...

but for all we know, so does the OP.

I was supposed to pretend that the sight would have looked just as bad if the guy was a total hunk. I got it now.

I'll leave the LIRR stories to whoever you want me to leave them to.

Kerry, either way you look at it, kanoodling like that on the train would just make me uncomfortable.

I will be happy to include that story in my LIRR book.

..of course with your permission.

My point exactly. I'm glad some people saw it (my point and not the underwear!). And Susan, I was never claiming that this was a top 100 LIRR story. Use it if you will but I know that there are better stories.

Still, if you (the collective you) are at a party and you are not thrilled with a story someone tells, do you chastise the person or do you save that behavior for the internet?

99.9% of people in the world have some flab. And make out with others. You didn't have to SEE any of his on the flippin' LI Double R.

Your point is well taken.

Kerie, I actually appreciated your story and was sincere. I'm sorry if it came off the wrong way. Not intended at all that way. I thought I was defending you.
