Need ideas: Gift for EI therapists
My DD will be exiting out of EI and August 31. Her therapists have been fantastic. Her special ed therapist has been a blessing. She has gone way beyond and has made such an impact in our lives and the life of our DD. I'd really like to get her something special; and personal.....not a gift card. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Re: Need ideas: Gift for EI therapists
I am a teacher and the best gift a parent/child ever gave me was a letter letting me know the impact I had on the child. Gifts don't have to cost you anything-and I can tell you that I have saved every letter that I have ever gotten. I haven't been able to keep every knick knack or decorative item I have received because after 12 years of teaching, there just isn't the space in my home. Honestly, a $5 gift card for a cup of coffee and a heartfelt letter goes a long way! It's nice that you want to show your appreciation!

Noahs Speech therapist has become a close friend of mine and like part of our family. We are getting her a Pandora bracelet and 2 charms that have special meaning...and a mug from cafepress with a funny saying about speech language pathologists with a small Dunkin donuts gift card.
Our Parent trainer we are getting a pandora charm for her braclet and a Target giftcard

I'm an EI special educator and agree with this. I love getting a nice card with a sentimental note. I keep them all and reread them often. If you really want to get a gift, I love getting gift cards.
