Alarm Systems
I have an alarm system in the house and I'm deciding who I should sign up with for service. I was going to go with ADT but I read TERRIBLE reviews online.
Can anyone rec their reliable company?

we have slomins.....my moms used them for years and had no problems.
we've been in the house since march and so far so good.
there was an existing alarm here they had to upgrade so no fees for that......and i have to check the bill.
ps-if you use slomins let me know, they have a good referral program

We had ADT in SC and never had any problems. THeir response time was pretty quick.
Here on LI we have Slomins - no issues.
They were both around the same price for me.

We have slomins as well..as much as I hate them for oil, they're pretty good for the alarm

We use Meenan Security (also use them for our oil) and they are great! Just under $30/month for monitoring. System was N/C, just a small fee for installation and wanting an extra wireless remote. I would definitely recommend them!

We use VMS Security in Yaphank and they are terrific! Great personal service - 20+ years experience in the industry, they do their own installations, they don't sub-contract that out. Craig, the owner, is really a great guy. We called after-hours tonight with a question on our back up battery and the call center put us in touch with Craig - at his daughter's softball game! Helped us with what we needed and put my mind at ease.
