laminating machine
Does anyone own one? I was looking to buy a cheap one but I have a feeling anything I get is going to be a piece of junk...any suggestions??

OMG, I love mine!!! I think it was 28 bucks or so at walmart and refills are expensive but I just use my scholastic bonus points to buy refills.

BJs has one for very inexpensive with inexpensive refills..you can also get refills for less than Staples and Lakeshore and they are not a sale item, so if you have a coupon, you can use that on them...

Walmart would be great very convenient for me. Do you know the brand or model number...there's a lot of junk out there and i dont want to get a crappy one.

I have a xyron machine that laminates, makes stickers, and magnets. Its the best purchase I ever made! You buy the cartridge you want (I have and use all 3 lol) and always use a 40% coupon so its not too bad

I have one and LOVE it. I got it at Staples, using my reward points!

I bought one for $80, and its 14" wide, so I can laminate small posters as well as anything else smaller. It is holding up great, and I have had NO problems with it. They also have AMAZING deals on refill pouches. I just bought 300 refills, 5mil (thats the heavier laminating paper- I am a special ed teacher and laminate EVERYTHING, and I need durability) and the deal was buy 2 boxes (of 100) get one free. They were paper size, 9X11.5 iand it was $40 something dollars (and thats with tax and shipping). 300 pouches should last me the whole year.
Hope this helps. I really recommend anythong that is in need of a Laminator to check out this sight. They are really quick with shipping as well!

Yes. I have the GBC too and I use scotch pouches because they are so cheap at BJ's. I used to buy the staples brand and those worked too
