She's an eating machine!
Ok, so most days Alex will go 2-4 hours before she wants to eat, but yesterday and today it has been relentless! She'll want to eat on both sides every 40 minutes or so! Is this normal or is there something wrong with my milk supply??

Christopher seriously has one or two days like this every single week. He ate every two hours today and he usually eats every four.

I won't EVER complain again! Alex ate every hour or so yesterday all day long, but when bedtime rolled around she slept from 11pm-8am, waking only ONCE for a feeding! YAY!! I got sleep!! I feel human again!!

Beth! I'm going through the same thing right now!!!!!!!!!! Joseph was going 2-3 hours every day and 3 hours all night and yesterday and today he wants it like every 45 mins-an hour! I don't know what to do! He didn't sleep well last night at all though - up forever and very gassy.

Yup, I guess our babies are on the same schedule for growth spurts! Try to wake him up during the day to get his feedings in so he'll sleep more in the night. Alex was having the same problem - she'd wake up only once or twice in the night for a feeding, which isn't so bad, but then she would get fussy when I tried to put her back to sleep because she gets gassy. I tried burping her over my shoulder but it never works for her. I finally tried burping her by holding her chin in my hand and lean her over in a sitting position, and OMG, it works like a charm!
Also, when she wakes up in the night, I feed from one side, THEN I change her, and then I feed from the other side and then try to put her down. Before, I was feeding her on both sides, then changing her diaper. She would get so worked up from the changing that it was impossible for her to go back to sleep. Now, I change her, then feed on the other side, and she gets sleepy enough that she can fall asleep easier.

I do the diaper between sides also anytime I want her ot go back to sleep. Miranda HATES having her diaper changed.
