We've seen ones on the South Shore, but in yesterday's Newsday there was a list of top LI allergists and I'm pretty sure there were a few in your area.
FWIW, all of the allergists we've seen (3 so far) have all told me that there is no such thing as a specialization in pediatric allergies, it's just allergies in general, so you can take kids to any allergist.
