He has leukemia - has had it for years but unfortunately with this last flare up the chemo is no longer working.
We received some rather bad news yesterday that since his heart is not great, he cannot tolerate the treatment the doctor wanted to give him. So we are now onto experimental treatments - no guarantee that it will work or that he'll even get into the program/qualify.
His doctor seems to think that he's a great candidate but its not up to her. We meet with the doc heading the treatment on Thursday so if you could just pray that he qualifies for this treatment I would appreciate it.
I feel so awful for him and for my husband - he's devastated
