Those that went to Hawaii
(This gets more traffic than the travel board)
Would you book a tour on a discounted website?? Instead of going through the actual tour company...
For example, the bike ride down Haleakala through the actual tour company is $100, but I found a website that offers the tour through the same company for $70. Would you trust it??
Thanks. I wish it was two weeks from now!!

the only thing we booked before we went was the helicopter tour on kaui, everything else we did we booked at the hotel when we got there

Do you remember who you booked with? We also are going to do the helicopter on Kauai.

We only booked the Lahaina Luau in Maui online. Everything else we booked through a tour company when we got there....can't remember the exact name

One of the bigger tour operaters on Hawaii is Diamond Head Vacations but there are lots of other ones that you can book through the tour desk in your hotel.
I am a travel agent and I didn't even pre-book any tours before we went because I wanted to keep my schedule open in case I didn't feel like doing something on a day that I had prebooked something.
I do recommend prebooking the Old Lahaina Village Luau, it books up so fast.

Definitely book Old Lahaina Luau prior to going. We booked all other activities once we got there through American Express at our hotels.

also when you get there sit for those time share things they give you free diner cruises and other things!

I know that this vacation is going to be 
I feel like if I wait to book everything until I get there, we are going to pay top dollar. I also feel we are going at a very popular time. I dont want to get shut out of anything.
we already booked the Old Lahaina Luau.

Sorry I always do that I post under his name on his P.C.
We went for our honeymoon Which was late June early July. We booked through the hotel everything except the Helicopter and the luau (like my DH said) We did pearl harbor, sunset dinner cruise, sunset sail, Snorkeling My dh wanted to do the bike ride down the volcano I wasn't all about that but NOTHING was booked up. We got our first time choice on everything.

Like I said earlier, there are so many companies there I can't imagine you being shut out of something.
What if you booked a downhill bike tour and the day before you get a really bad sunburn and don't feel like going? If you booked it over the internet, it might be kinda hard to change once your there.
The only things I usually recommend to clients to prebook is the Old Lahaina Town Luau and the Pearl Harbor Memorial on Oahu.
