QOTD 9/21/10

So we are all in the same boat and want a little more than anything...if it were possible to pick the genders of your kids in the order you want would you and what would it be? Does your DH say what he wants?

I personally didn't care if we had a DD/DS, just a healthy baby (obviously), but in my head when I envisioned my family I always saw 2 boys and then a girl. I wanted my little boys to be the protector of their little sister...I guess Reilly will be the protector now I think DH secretly wanted a son first but when he saw his DD for the first time he was a puddle!! Now looking back I can't picture my life any other way!

I always say that I want all boys... but obviously i want a healthy and happy baby regardless of sex...

I would like a boy first though because i feel the same way you did...

ETA: Ideally i would like 3 or 4... but that really depends on how quickly #1 comes lol

i have always thought that I wanted 2 girls, but now I think the idea of one of each is cute. I don't have a preference to order though.

I think DH would like to have at least one boy so either 2 boys or a boy then a girl.

all of this being said, we would not care about sex as long as we have healthy babies!

As you girls have mentioned of course I want a healthy baby and I would be happy with either boy or girl. I would like to have a boy first and then a girl. I also want the big brother protector of his sister.

I really could care less either way, but so far in mine and dh's family there are only boys!! it would be kinda cool if we had the frist girl! spoiled little princess! hehe but i always wanted boys!

the girl thig will only work tho if i am the next to get prego!! i knoowww if im not the next, whoever is is going to have the girl! lol

We would love to have 2 kids, boy then girl but of course we would be ok with whatever the gender was as long as its a healthy baby.

Really though, I want 2 girls and DH wants 2 boys. So as a compromise, we want one of each.

I would love a little giril but I would also want DH to have a son; either way I don't really care all that much!

DH wants two girls, I want a girl and a boy - I'd feel like I was missing out if I didn't have one of each but I know it's not a likely scenario...

we joke that we'll have 2 boys b/c it's the opposite of what we want ...

i'd like for my first to be a girl i think, just so DH gets a little girl...but of course healthy baby is #1

I really don't care. My father has never had a boy, so I know he would love that. My mil has never had a girl and I know she'd be over the moon over a girl.

I flip/flop...the only thing that scares me about boys in their business...I don't know how to change a boy's diaper!

We want 2 kids. We have DD, FIL wants to have a grandson. AS long as it's healthy, we are happy but i would love another DD...i love having little girls and plus i have everything already.

I've always invisioned myself with just one, it's never changed.

I've always wanted a boy but, I got a boy with my stepson and now want a girl.

DH wants a girl bc he says she will take care of us when we get old!

I want 3 kids. if i could pick gender i would pick 2 girls and 1 boy
dh wants all girls but would be happy with a boy of course but we will take whatever we get!!!

I would love to have 2 boys than 2 girls.

DH would love 1 boy then 2 girls or another boy & a girl. (he only wants 3 )

I don't have any preference at all. As long as the baby is healthy that's all that matters.

I used to think that as long as I had at least one girl, I'd be happy. Well, since being with DH, I've flip flopped. My ILs are very into a boy to carry on the family name (we are the only chance in a big family of mostly girls)! That being said, I 'd like to have 3 or 4 kids with one or two boys and one or two girls. We'll see what life has in store!

I've always wanted and then --growing up, I always wanted to have an older brother instead of a younger one!
DH comes from and would like exactly the same...
After over a year of TTC, we'll take any healthy !

I want to have 2 kids, it's always been a then a . But we have so many boys in our extended families now, that I would LOVE to have a baby girl first!
