Birthday dress opinion needed
DD's birthday is coming up in November and we are doing a cupcake theme. I don't have to have the dress match the theme but found this dress on etsy.
Do you think if I put a l/s pink onesie or shirt underneath with either pink leggings or tights ...it would be okay for Nov? Or does it look too springy/summery?
Thanks for any input or thoughts!! I'm making myself crazy trying to find something for her! (We would also use this dress for her birthday photos.) Image Attachment(s):

I would do a pink turtleneck. Totally fine for Nov!! I think a sweater over it would take away from its cuteness.

Totally fine for November. I did something like that last January for my DD with leggings and a turtleneck underneath.

I would do a pink or white long sleeve tee. You can find them at Old Navy for like $5 and matching leggings. Very cute.

Okay okay I won't think of double layering! LOL I had to ask though - I'm so not good at assembling outfits!!

Thanks so much ladies! I wasn't sure if this would work and all the 'fun looking' bday dresses are for spring / summer (at least the one's I was gravitating towards!) I'm sooo excited that I think I've finally settled on her party dress and the best part is it's only $23

That dress is beyond precious!!!! makes me wanna have a girl so BAD!!!!!!!! I think leggings and a little sweater is fine.
