Definitely call your doctor-but the bleeding sounds like it's from the internal pap.
I say this, because when I was in the 1st tri, after an internal the OB always said there might be bleeding afterwards.
Hopefully your doctor will put your mind at ease.

the bleeding has completely stopped and im back to brown spotting... im going to call the doctor at 3 to see about the blood test!
My sil told me to ask for another blood test to check if my levels are going up

It's very normal to have some light bleeding/spotting after an internal and a pap. I hope it's just because of that.

i just spoke to the doctor... there is nothing he can do right now...
they are waiting for my blood work to come back this afternoon to see how strong the pregnancy is and to see how far along i am...
the nurse said that after the sono & pap its common to bleed and have spotting...
waiting sux
I hope that everything comes back ok. Are they able to rush your blood work?
Oh and another blood test is a good idea...

they should have the results in about a half hour... the nurse is going to call me back when she gets it
so frustrating

I had bleeding at 5 weeks in my first pregnancy. Apparently bleeding during pregnancy isn't as uncommon as i thought. I think the nurse told me 20% of women have some sort of bleeding during pregnancy. I know it's still scary to see blood down there.
Hope everything is ok.

but he said he cant really tell anything because of how early it is and wants me to come in for more blood work next week...

It's probably normal and just from the internal...especially since it stopped bleeding and is it brown spotting. Your dr probably just wants to monitor your levels to make sure it's going up!! hugs and good thoughts being sent your way!!

you sound exactly like i did after a pap early on...tiny bit of spotting then a ridiculous amount of bleeding that stopped the same night, turns out it was blood clots in the placenta that i'm now being treated for...
