Upset and need to Vent
so i know what everyone is going to stay that its normal not to have a lot of symptoms etc..but i just need to vent! (im really hoping that it the hormones thats causing this vent and me being upset right now)
im just getting really nervous seeing how many people are already starting to feel nauseous!
i know im extremely early (like 5 1/2 weeks) but i just wanna feel something to ease my mind a little!
the only symptom i have really is sore boobs, and they really arent even really sore! they were and then they werent, then sunday and monday i thought they were on their way back to being really sore again, but then i woke up tuesday with them being slightly sore!
I thought at one point i was peeing more frequently but i really think thats only beecause ive been drinking more water!
i feel bloated but thats just because none of my clothes fit because i gained a ton since the summer, and was kinda depressed about the chemical last month.
im just really nervous and i still have a week and a half till my dr's apt! it feels like forever!
i just want some symptoms because im driving myself nuts! it cant be good!
and now im sitting at my desk practically in tears because i think i should be feeling something already
eta: and im not even thattt tired...i mean i am always tired, i work two jobs and am up early, but i dont feel tired like anyone had described it.

Re: Upset and need to Vent
I was a total nervous wreck in the beginning. I remember thinking before my symptoms really kicked in that I must be making it up because I feel exactly the same. I can't even remember how many times I peed on a stick to make sure it was still positive. I think what you are feeling is totally normal. I felt the same way!
Honestly, my symptoms did not start until 6-8 weeks, but you could be one of the lucky ones that really doesn't have extreme symptoms.
I hope the next week and a half will FLY for you!
Feel better!!

Re: Upset and need to Vent
Everybody experiences pregnancy differently! I've only been nauseous a few times and those have only been later than you are (around 8/9 weeks). That doesn't mean anything though! I've never thrown up, I don't have extra spit, etc.
Every BODY is different, every body and every pregnancy feels different.
Don't worry at all!
Hang in there!

Re: Upset and need to Vent
I was sooo nervous in the beginning! And I wanted symptoms sooo bad...but to be honest I really never got any and now I'm 33 weeks! It's so hard and not easy, and the first trimester was the longest of my life.
Just try to stay as positive as you can. Keep in mind that MOST of the time women go on to have a happy and normal pregnancy. Now looking back I am thankful! lol

Re: Upset and need to Vent
awww... relax. You are still soo early. There is NO REASON to think anything is wrong either. You don't have any "bad" symptoms either. Focus on that instead.
Also, yes the hormones can make you a bit crazy. I yelled at the CVS workers yesterday and this morning I resisted (hard but I succeeded) the urge to slap around the quest diagnostic nasty man.
What's most important is that you stay calm and stress free. Focus on the end result and the positive.
Someone wrote this to me this morning "stay calm, positive thoughts, and good vibes" I think that was it anyway... focus on that.
Also remember you found out you were pregnant before most people even know... so it's perfectly normal to not feel anything just yet. I know you are anxious for it to happen... and it will.. all in due time.

Re: Upset and need to Vent
Dont worry. With my DD, I had NO symptoms at all besides slightly sore boobs. The tiredness hits more around week 10, for me anyway. Consider yourself lucky!!!!

Re: Upset and need to Vent
i have some symptoms and i am still a nervous wreck. i have 2 weeks until i see a doctor...
i'm really worried about a loss and i want a healthy baby - i think it's normal for us to worry about those things right?
i was super crampy a few days before and after my bfp - now the cramps have slowed down but i am very tired and slightly queasy - every cramp i get nervous and everytime i wipe i get nervous b/c i had some spotting a few days ago...
the only thing we can do right now is wait...and try to stay relaxed...
part of me wants to shout from the rooftops that i am pregnant and the other part is so scared that something might go wrong and it makes me want to cry....
i feel you girl
we have to hang in there!
and don't worry about symptoms vs no symptoms...just try to relax....

Re: Upset and need to Vent
My best friend is 26 weeks and she hasn't had a single symptom her ENTIRE pregnancy and she's totally fine. I mean, now she feels the baby and you can see the bump, but I'm telling you, the girl hasn't been tired, no sore boobs, no nausea NOTHING!!!!! She is so freakin lucky!!!!!
I didn't even know I was PG until I was 6 weeks along. Talk about your "no symptoms"!!! Sometimes finding out so early just can cause anxiety, but you have to try to fight the urge to be so nervous. The best thing you can do is just be healthy and continue to be yourself. Eat healthy, drink all that water, and keep a positive attitude. Your baby will thrive in your lovin tummy!
HUGS!!!

Re: Upset and need to Vent
Sorry you are worrying - I didn't get any symptoms that early. Mine started about 7w I think. Be happy you don't have much right now and hopefully you will be a lucky mommy with no symptoms - cause let me tell you I am 16w and I still have bad m/s and all I want is for it to go away!

Re: Upset and need to Vent
At 5 1/2 weeks, I felt nothing either. My boobs were a little sore--nothing crazy and some days they weren't sore at all. I remember for some sort of symptom. And just a week later, boy did I eat my words. Try to relax (I know easier said than done). Some women really don't feel any symptoms. After about 10 weeks of bad m/s, I consider those women lucky.
It's still early and you may get more symptoms. Or you might not and your baby will still be perfectly healthy!

Re: Upset and need to Vent
I have a total and complete wreck in the beginning!!!! I analyzed everything and drove my DH insane! I’m high risk so I see a doc and have a sono every two weeks so in between appointments I'm still nervous and I'm almost 20 weeks. Even as I type this I'm thinking should I be feeling this great? Shouldn’t there be some pesky pregnancy symptoms still lingering, cuz in the second trimester before you start feeling the baby there's really nothing at all, and even then if you don't feel LO one day u start freaking out. So I guess this worrying is a very part of pregnancy and there's no way to go around it. If it makes u feel any better I started feeling symptoms closer to the 7th week, that's when it hit me hard! And then at around 11 weeks I suddenly felt better again and of course started freaking out some more... Wishing u lots of strength and fun activities to distract yourself till your first appt.

Re: Upset and need to Vent
The first time I POAS once a week for 9 weeks until I saw the Dr and had the sono - Other than becoming a narcoleptic @ around 8 weeks, I had ZERO symptoms - Nothing, nada, zlich other than not getting my Period !!
This time, same thing ..........but I was prepared, so I only POAS 4x before seeing the Dr. @ week 10
You DO NOT want M/S - it's not a 'good' thing, it doesn't mean you have a healthier pregnancy than someone that does have it, or that you're less likely to miscarry ( I don't know WHERE that one came from - thanks Google ) it just means you are LUCKY !! - Try not to worry, not having miserable pregnancy symptoms doesn't mean ANYTHING other than you are lucky !!

Re: Upset and need to Vent
With DC #1 I had no symptoms at all. I wasn't even all that tired. I did throw up twice - once from smelly trash and the other unexplained. This time (I'm 10 weeks pg with twins) I haven't had too many symptoms either. I just started feeling nauseous approx/ 10 days ago and did throw up last Saturday. Try not to worry. I know it's hard. I'm counting the days until my ultrascreen on 11/8 so I can finally tell people and relax.

Re: Upset and need to Vent
I was the same way in the beginning, and sometimes still feel "annoyed" that I have "no symptoms". But just from reading your post I can see that you do indeed have symptoms, you're just making excuses to attribute them to different things. Stop doing that!!!!!!
I know the next week and a half is going to take forever, so hit up a dollar tree and buy a few tests. Every time you get a little nervous go into the bathroom and POAS; seeing that line again should make you feel a little better and will hopefully hold you over until your appt.

Re: Upset and need to Vent
Don't fret!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had very very minor symptoms-that didn't even hit me till after I was 8 weeks...and even then it was still really mild! And by week 10 they were gone again.
You are fine!!!!!! Consider it a blessing

Re: Upset and need to Vent
You're still very early to feel any kind of symptoms... at least consistantly.
Sore boobs is a huge sign of pregnancy. There's your symptom!
Don't worry... before you know it, you'll be dry heaving into the bowl before work each morning (just kidding! Hope not!!!)
