Anyone take the Literacy CST?
Im taking it sat and feel really unprepared! Is it really hard? Ive taken the LAST, ATSW, Multi subject CST, and Students with Disabilities CST and passed them all on the first try. Im hoping I get the same result with this test!

Re: Anyone take the Literacy CST?
I took it about 5 years ago..I remember the writing portion had a running record to analyze and a conversation where you had to analyze the comprehension of the student..the multiple choice I don't really remember, but I passed on the first try-if you are in a literacy program, you should be fine! Good luck!

I took it maybe 3 years ago. I was a little worried about it BUT it was one of the easiest cert tests that I took.

Re: Anyone take the Literacy CST?
I took it about two-three years ago. On the written portion they ask you to evaluate a student and then set up a plan for the student. First it was what strategies would you utilize to diagnose the student and then how would you work with the student...
That's the only thing I really remember. I remember just using the key words we were taught. I think I told them I would diagnose the student using the QRI (if that's what you learned about) then I talked about skills that we learned like the stretch to sketch, close readings, QAR etc.)
Good luck!
