We have an appt!!!!
I made an appt for DH and myself to go see a urologist that specializes in vasectomy reversal. Initially, we thought about this, but I did research, and the statistics for conceiving after having a vasectomy for so long scared me so we nixed that idea and went straight for invitro. We've come back to that idea now, and I'm hoping for the best here. I set the appt for later on this month.
I'm excited about the possibility as this being an answer for us, but I don't want to get too excited and set myself up for a letdown. I'm just going to think positive thoughts.
We'll seeeee................?????????

FYI, my friend had the same situation. The reversal did not work and she ended up having IVF and has twin girls. They were born premature so make sure you know your signs of labor if you go this route.

That is great news.
If you need a second opinion, DH recently went to the head of the dpt. at Beth-Israel and he was so much more pro-active and informative than the Dr. he saw locally. I can give you the # if you decide to go.
Anyway best of luck with the appt. I understand this is a fairly common procedure.
