Greek or French restaurant in LI or NYC?
A friend of mine has a co-worker that's planning a bridal shower. She's looking for a place on LI or NYC that's either Greek or French and has a parking lot.
Any suggestions????

well in NYC there's Raoul's but you would be hard pressed to find a parking lot associated with the restaurant in NYC.
There are parking lots and garages around though.
Raoul's is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. (is that English?)

For Greek, Athena's in Amityville is great. The restaurant doesn't have its own party room and parking isn't amazing, but the food is great. It is the best hummus I've ever had, hands down.
There is also Trodos in Carle Place on Old Country Rd across from the Source. I haven't had a chance to eat there yet, but the I know the inside is nice (it used to be Zen Palate, which I LOVED!). That place might be good for a party.
Also, you could try Wild Fig in Garden City on Franklin Ave.
I like Greek food....can you tell?!

Sage Bistro in Bellmore for French. They have a web site if you're interested in checking it out.

Trodos is actually the same food/same owners as Shish Kebab. I went last week and the inside is really pretty and the food is great!

Laura, tell her to look into Le Soir in Bayport.
I also used to work at Athena in Amityville (grew up there)

Ah, yes! I forgot about Louis XIV! I attended a wedding there and can certainly attest to the food being very good!

Lombardi's on the Bay is now in the old Louis XIV. They closed last year, I believe.

Kebab House in Little Neck on Northern Blvd.....it's Turkish not Greek but one of the best around (and that's coming from an Armenian!! ) There's a parking lot in the back.
There's also a French restaurant 2 doors down from them that is awesome....place is small but the food was DELISH

In NYC, I like Avra for Greek and Jubilee for French but as PP mentioned, you won't find a parking lot with a restaurant in NYC but there are tons of garages...
