dear nook
you are dead to me!!!
too many hours have been spent trying to download books from the library. I am so frustrated!!!

Take it to the store with your laptop - they will help you if no one else can help you here or on the internet.
ETA: I would call before you go, to see if you can find out when someone would be there with the most Nook-knowledge to help you.
Also, try posting on nookboards.com, lots of people there to help.

It really should not be such a problem. It takes me less than a minute to download a book.
Where are you stuck?
On the downloading of digital doorway?
Did you remember to register yourself with your nook before trying to download.
I went to my library and they had clear written instructions on how to do it. It was so much easier to follow.
I almost missed the "register" section because it was in another page/link on the website.

Did you remember to register yourself with your nook before trying to download.
I went to my library and they had clear written instructions on how to do it. It was so much easier to follow.
I almost missed the "register" section because it was in another page/link on the website.
Register myself with the nook?With my library? Im not sure if I heard of that let me check.
I can download the books and ADE recognizes the nook but when i drag the book into the nook it says ... crap i forgot what it says. not authorized to do this or something like this.

you need to authorize your computer and the nook in order to use them.

Save yourself a headache and go to B&N.
They will assist you. Don't waste anymore time.
I was getting so upset and they helped me.
All he had to do was to click around and VOILA! Dont' give up!!

Make sure the email address you registered your nook with is the same one that you registered ADE with. If the email addresses don't match it won't let you put library books on your nook. I learned this the hard way!

Go to settings. Select restore factory settings. Then re-register it. It ill work. Same thing happened to me.
