wedding album??
Im married 5 months and i haven't ordered my album yet!!! Is anyone out there who is procrastinating like me!!??? Its horrible. I was so exhausted from wedding planning and after my wedding I just didn't wanna look at anything wedding related!! DH said to me today....ahhh.....are we ordering our album anytime soon?? We should of had a pic up on the wall in our living room by now. haha...He's totally right and soo friggen cute. lol
Please tell me I am not the only one out there...??? lol. (oh geez ..hope im not!!) lol

its so funny how i called like every week asking if they were done...and i got them fairly quick. it was like 4th or 5th week. I absolutly lovvvvvved my proofs. I just cant seem to open them up and pick them out. lol. Gotta do it soon thou! lol

aww..im sorry you dont like your pics...why dont you like them?? Maybe you can ask them to edit them differently?

UGH! We got married 2 months ago this Friday and the albums are mostly picked out but I just have to go through them again and organize it better. I'm just so tired after I get home from work, make dinner, eat dinner, and then finally sit down around 7PM at night after being up since 5:30/6AM! I'm TOTALLY with you though! You are NOT alone!

I used Ariana Studios and while they were professional, my photographer rushed my entire family, took pics that were too far away or with bad lighting, and many pics had weird facial expressions, eyes looking in different directions, mouths open, eyes closed, etc and then I would look bad but everyone else looked good, and those pics weren't retaken....
Also, zero pics of the reception table arrangements, probably 20 pics of my invitations and shoes, but only 3 pics of my dad helping me get into the limo? Oh and NO CLOSE UP PICS OF ME WALKING DOWN THE AISLE?? What the eff??
I thought the pics that my DOC and guests took were taken at better angles than those my photographer took. Given the price I paid, I felt I could have received better quality photos. Don't get me wrong - I got a lot of proofs (1102 to be exact) but at least 500 of them are completely useless for any albums (because they are either pics of our backs, my husband is making faces, I was squinting/not smiling). My mom saw the proofs a few days ago and she was more disappointed than I was. I've just seen better work from other photographers, that's all. I dont think the proofs I got are anything to brag about. The non-pro pics my friends took were just better, sharper and seemed to be taken with better cameras.
I would link you guys to view them online but its not on their web site yet!
I USED ARIANA TOO!!! Did you have Konrad? I have the SAME EXACT problems that you did with your proofs. Probably part of the reason I'm so reluctant to show people my proofs or pick out my album. 700 pictures of my invite but the only picture of me and my dad walking down the aisle before my mom joins us is too far away! It's TERRIBLE! I'm really upset with the photographer (he didn't listen to anything I said) and really upset with the way the pictures turned out.

Thanks, I will actually do this...Another update to this whole photography fiasco is that I wrote a half-good/half-bad review about them on Wedding Wire (I posted all my reviews of all the vendors on that board and the Knot), then next thing I got was an email from Wedding Wire telling me that the photography company was disputing my review!!! They had to remove it to verify that I actually had a contract with them..I emailed them a copy of the contract, but still - I just can't stand how shady my photography company really is. If they screwed up my pics, I WILL TELL EVERYONE I know about it!!!
Anyway /rant.

I was married for like 8/9 months before I ordered mine. I had to many pics to sort through, 2 photogs and over 1500 photos, it was a tough tast. Dont worry, we just celebrated our 1 yr and I still dont have them yet, lol

Its been 1 yr, 3 mos since my wedding and i havent even looked at my pics in months.... no album was ever made... maybe i can get on this for parent/grandparent xmas gifts LOL At this point, it just seems so distant and old... LOL we dont even have an album for ourselves 
ETA: We had literally 1200 pics taken... they are all on disc... no hard copies so its been impossible to choose pics through viewing them online... im the type that needs actual piles to sort through KWIM

almost 5 months, i went through half of the over 3,000 proofs and narrowed that half down, then just could not take it anymore! i was just thinking i should do the other half this wknd, but we have a crazy wknd

I am in the same boat, I have 1100 pictures that were taken and are on discs as well. I still haven't been able to select pics for my Thank You cards. I am the super procrastinator!!

I asked this of my photographer too. I didn't realize until I opened my mouth that I was probably insulting his work, but he seemed a little apprehensive and then said he just wanted me to be happy. There may be 1 or 2 pics from others that I will try to incorporate.
Also, still haven't done mine. Trying to still tackle the TYs. I have to get my butt in gear though because if I don't do it within 6 months he charges a late fee. Smart on his part!
