How long did you recieve your wedding album in?
from the day of ur wedding? and if you can take the poll and then tell me how long u waited from when u picked the pictures
also what do u think the norm to wait is? We are having major issues with the company we used, we picked our pictures in beginning of nov, and still havent received it (or our video)and it has been 14 months from our wedding

I clicked the wrong answer sorry I answered over a year & it should have been 9-12 months. I got my album just before my 1st anniversay. It took so long because I took so long to pick out all my pics for the album.
ETA: Our video we had to send back for editing so it took longer

We got married last September. Marco did our wedding and it took about 2 months after our proofs to get all the albums and loose photos back.

We got married 3/31/06. Had my pictures in my hand 2 weeks later. Put my album order in August 2006 & had my album delivered to me this past Friday.

see i wouldn't mind it being this late if thats what we were told, but we were told we would have it in jan and then march, april, may, june, july and now shes saying the end of the month!!! she should have just said it would take a year. i think something happened to our pics and shes not telling us

Well, it did take me 6 months to pick out the pics (we were moving and doing massive renovations) but after I dropped them off it took them 5 months to do a proof that was royally screwed up (despite me putting all pics in order with post-its as to specific directions), then another 6 months to get them right.
So over a year. I'm still not 100% satisfied.
It was so much back and forth with them that the last two time I was there I lost my temper in their showroom
I remember saying, "Can I have my album done right BEFORE my children are born?
Oh, and they were a very popular vendor on LIW in 04-05.
ETA: In the age of digital, I think a year, or more, is unacceptable

9-12 months but it was because other people couldn't decide on what photos they wanted in their album. Once that was done about 3-4 weeks.

we submitted the pics about 1 month after the wedding and then received the finished album (after we proofed it) less than 2 months after that.
so just under 3 months from the day we got married.

I got my video in 2 months (different person than the photographer). I was extremely happy with them.
I picked my pictures for the album in November from a September wedding and went over my digital layout ion April and piced up my album in June. I was annoyed that it took so long. But it did come out beautiful. I think the video should be faster and within a year for an album seems to be the norm.

B - We're married almost 2 years and still no album! But then again, we haven't even looked to decide what pictures we want to make an album with (I hate my pics anyway, so I don't even care!). But we did get our parent albums this past April, so that was a year and a half.
I can't believe you still haven't gotten your video yet! Give me their #, I'll set them straight for you!!! 
We had our raw video a month after the wedding and our edited video by January. (So two months)

We got married in September. I had submitted the pics and such to them by end of October. That's when I fell off the bandwagon. It was ready to be proofed sometime in January, but I never made it there till August-ish. Once approved it was ready in 3 weeks.

Totally do not remember ... but know we got married May and had my pictures back, TY pic picked, cards made that they were out by July 1st.
I'm going to say I got my album before the middle of October because I think I was out of work when I got it and went to show my SIL.

we got married in August 06 (todays my anniversary actually!!!). I'm not sure when we got the proofs back, but I know I took awhile to pick mine out. I handed them in in January. I still don't have my album.
They said 6 months but I think they're taking their nice sweet time as their way of getting back at my MIL, who treated them horribly.

We did not have digital photos.
Married in Novemeber
Got proofs when we got back from HM
Went into studio in January to give them our choices
Prints were ready in March (I think...)
Album was ready in May
I just got my negatives from them a month or two ago - they were going to keep them for 3 years, but I guess they wanted to unload them sooner.

Married in June, did album layout early January (we got married in NY but live in MD, so this is why we took so long). Our layout was done in July and we just have to approve it and they will bind the album. We will be in NY in 2 weeks, but the photographer sn't open Sunday and we have no other time to go So maybe we'll go in Sept or Oct some time to approve it. I work hourly in the summer (which sux) so I can't take extra time off.

I got my proofs in 5 weeks...
my album took a year and a half, but I didn't choose the pictures right away, so it took 6 months from the time I chose my pics.
I *just* got my video 2 weeks ago. I've been married for 3 years. I asked about it when I picked up my album, but somehow it fell through the cracks, so I called again this past December looking for it (a year after I picked up the album) and they finally made sure I was on the list.
