Those who miscarried naturally...
if you don't mind answering, how did it start? Did you get heavy bleeding right away or just some spotting? I started spotting this morning and I was praying that it was my body miscarrying naturally but it hasn't progressed to anything more than light spotting.

Re: Those who miscarried naturally...
Started as a blood red wipe on TP and then progressed to full blown bleeding within 4-5 hours.

Re: Those who miscarried naturally...
I started a little cramping and spotting the night before (very little). The next day I put on a BIG pad and starting bleeding, but not nearly as much as I thought. I went out to the mall and bought myself the Droid phone I had been wanting for months as a gift to myself (not for everyone, but I needed the distraction and my miscarriage was four weeks in the making). I even went out to dinner that night, again I needed the distraction. By the time we got home I was having cramping that got really bad until I passed the baby. And honestly, I didn't have much bleeding after that but I seem to be an anomalie. Good luck, I hope it's over soon. My heart goes out to you.

Same here. For me it was a week of spotting. The baby also measured about 2 weeks behind on first ultrasound. Then cramping at 8 weeks the day I had the MC.

Re: Those who miscarried naturally...
Mine started with a light pink wipe on TP then gradually got red a few thicker wippes but never heavy & i never needed a pad (even though i wore one anyway). It lasted this way for four days & then i went back to Dr & was checked with sono & everything looked back to normal non pregnant uterus

Re: Those who miscarried naturally...
I'm so sorry that you are spotting! It is so scary! I had a miscarriage, then a healthy pregnancy and have a 2.5 yr old daughter, then another miscarriage. For my first miscarriage I spotted and cramped for three days before miscarrying and ended up needing a D&C. For my miscarriage this August, I started spotting on a Monday afternoon lightly with no cramps. That night it got a little crampy and a little heavier spotting. The next day it progressively increased and by Tuesday night I was in a lot of pain. Then on Wednesday I started bleeding heavily and passing some clots and then miscarried naturally that afternoon/evening. I continued to bleed/spot for two weeks.
But, I want to add that when I was pregnant with my DD, I spotted from weeks 9-11 with slight cramping and it was nothing! She is perfectly healthy! So, light spotting could be anything!

Thank you. I should have said that I know this is not a viable pregnancy. I'm just praying that this spotting turns into a natural m/c. I really don't want to go for a d&c.

I'm sorry, I didn't know that you knew it was not viable. I'm sorry!

Re: Those who miscarried naturally...
I did not m/c naturally but wanted to send you lots of prayers and well wishes. I too wanted to m/c naturally, but now- looking back after having my d&c, I really think that was the best thing for *me*. I hope it all works out for you and soon. I know that the waiting is the worst.
