island rescue in bay shore?
we have been looking for a new vet for a long time now & my friend rec. island rescue in bay shore... website looks like the place is really nice... just wanted to see if anyone on here knows of them or has any expereince with them

my friend just had her rottie spayed there, she was very happy with their service. She uses a private vet for shots, etc...but obviously needed someone with surgical abilities for the spay.
Other than that, I have no knowledge of them.

my parents neighbor in valley stream raves about this place. she hikes all the way out there for their services.

My mom had her cat spayed there and we had both of ours done there. They are the cheapest we could find, no complications, free shots with the spay, and same day pick up. I read reviews online though that they aren't any good for anything else than spaying but I don't have any personal experience with this. My SIL was a vet tech for YEARS and suggests going to Bethpage Animal Hospital on Hempstead Tpke

yeah i read their reviews online & it seemed like a lot of the negative reviews were for the patchouge location.... i dont think anyone could be worse than our previous vet lol they were HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
