LI teacher contract negotiations
we are in a contract year. just curious how some of your contracts have been or are going in the past year or two. what have you given up and what have you gotten in return?
it's looking bleak

we are out of a contract. . . but . . .we can't even finalize a contract until teacher evaluations are ironed out by the state.

Our contract is up in June as well. I have a feeling it is going to be rough this go around.

ours was up last year and we resigned...nothing great at all. It's a sign of the times

I am not on LI, but this is a contract year for us. We just had our last union meeting before they start negotiations - they union reps think this is a very difficult time to negotiate.
