cost of alterations at nordstrom?
I just ordered a gown from nordstrom.com but it's way too long. i see they do alterations there but no one will give me a ballpark figure over the phone. have any of you gotten alterations there?

I had to go in person and try on the dress for them to give me an exact quote. I think the lady wanted close to $75 and tells me I wont find it cheaper anywhere else. 
Needless to say.....I found a wonderful tailor who did a beautiful job for almost 1/2 the price.
My opinion....save your time and $$$$  and keep looking.
