Re: What amount should give his teacher?
I am a teacher for HS. I have gotten a giftcard to 7-11, starbucks, panera etc anywhere from $5-10. I would do $5 for all or $10 for the teacher and $5 for the 2 others.

Re: What amount should give his teacher?
if your's doing the teacher and the assistants i would usually do a little more for the teached. If your doing $10 for the teacher i would do $5 for the assistants.

I agree...as a teacher, it kind of annoys me when my asst. gets the same amount I do.
At my DD's school (same time frame) we donated $15. each (& will give $150 for teacher & $40 for e/ asst). I'll probably give head teacher $15. gc & token gift for assts or 10. cards.

Seriously? I didn't even realize that teachers and assistants compared their gift amounts

Re: What amount should give his teacher?
As a teacher, I am always happy with any amount gift card. I think it's very thoughtful no matter what the denomination.

Re: What amount should give his teacher?
For mommy and me 1 time per week, last year, I did $25 for teacher and $15-$20 or assistants
This year, DS is FT so I did $25 GC and a vera bradley lunch bag for teacher (about $55-$60) and $10 GC with Bed Bath and beyond smelly stuff for assistants (total of $20)

interesting to hear that. at ds daycare I guess there is one teacher who might be considered the main one, but I know that two of the others spend the most time with him. All 5 have been getting the same.

Re: What amount should give his teacher?
I bought all teachers and assistants $25 target giftcards.
I always always get the same amount for the assistants...they do SO much for the class, I just felt it was right. JMO.
