same situation...

we got this from target. it doesn't fit all the toys that both my ds's have but it does a decent job. i wish it had storage on the side for books.

I have the same toy storage as the poster above.

I also have this fake leather storage ottoman set from BBB. they both fit under my coffee table and DS uses the little ottoman as his chair.

I put books, art supplies, crayons, and stackable stuff in it.

We have the Expedit shelving system from Ikea. I have the 4x4 size, but they also have a 5x5, a 2x4, and a 1x4 (meaning how many columns x how many rows).

This one is small enough you can probably put in a corner with some books or something else on top:


They come in 4 different colors too.

I have the Closetmaid Cubeicals-works great. Someday I should take a before and after pic. We have a dedicated playroom but its still a wreck after 1 day
