are you sending christmas cards??
i wanna send out christmas (photo) cards, with just a basic self taken picture, printed on our printer... not looking to spend a lot of $$
BUT... we haven't gotten our prof pics or TYs yet.. do you think people might wonder where their TYs are when they are getting a homemade christmas card?

We sent out photo christmas cards (Happy Holidays) last year and we sent them out before our TY cards.
We used one photo from our wedding (non-pro pic we liked), and two from our honeymoon.
I don't think people would wonder where your TY cards are. If they do, they do. I'm sure our guests wondered because we just sent them out almost at our 1 year anniversary (didn't like pro pics and procrastinated).
I used Shutterfly to make our holiday cards.

Since DH & I moved in together in 2006, we have always sent holiday cards. This year I was going to do a photo holiday card with a motage of wedding photos but instead went with a more traditional holiday card.
I decided that we are going to wait to send photo cards until we have children or a pet.

I had cards made up on vista print w/a pic we took on our honeymoon. I think it cost about $36 for 100 cards & envelopes.

we send them out with pictures on them but they do start to add up $$$.
you can just send regular ones and no i dont think people will be wondering about their thank yous.
you just had your wedding and christmas is right around the corner.

I just ordered cute cards from Vista Print.. really cheap...
Since our TY's will be a photo (and going out after xmas cards), I kept Christmas simple.

Not this year. We just finished writing out our thank you cards over the weekend and the thought of now writing out Christimas cards makes me want to run and hide in the fetal position in my closet.

Absolutely! And, I always use pictures in them. I send them every year and always get a great response. I make them using Send Out Cards. Very cool and simple from year to year because they keep your contacts.www.sendoutcards.com/perfectcards
