Interview Tomorrow!

I have an interview tomorrow for a special education preschool. I just got called today for the interview and have to come up with a 15min demo lesson in any area I would like. I have no idea what to do. I am so excited that I am drawing a blank! Does anyone have any suggestions?!?!?! Thank you in advance to anyone who responds!

Good luck! You can always do something involving winter, like reading a story and then doing an activity. I've done a couple of pre-school related demos. One was a counting book and then attaching feathers to a turkey with the correct number on it (it was around Thanksgiving when I did the lesson, but I'm sure you can find something similar for winter). I also did one with "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" where I made a felt board and had the children retell the story using pictures glued to felt cookies.

Re: Interview Tomorrow!

Thanks for the ideas! I think I might have found a cute fun lesson on brushing teeth. I am going to do the old egg in vinegar(bad foods) activity to represent to the children how important brushing your teeth is. I am testing it out now to see if I have enough time to do it.

Soak it in coke overnight! I did that a few years ago and it worked great! Soak one in coke and one in milk (the milk to hit home the idea of healthy teeth and bones by drinking milk). The coke brushes right off, and it has a great effect.
