Teething he!!........Will the first tooth ever cut through?
DS is so cranky and constantly has his hands in his mouth. I can see some white on the front of his gum but nothing has cut through. How long does this process take?

Oh you are not alone.....it is like one min. she is fine and the next in tears! Ehhh when will it end...but I know it is just the start!

Ugghh I am dealing with the same thing! DS is almost 8 months, teething since 3.5. NO teeth yet! He woke up in the middle of the night last night screaming his head off.  
I keep saying, this is it, they are coming any day now. They never do..

It took soooo long for DS's first tooth to cut through. I remember I kept saying "any day now" for a good 2-3 months!

It is he l l...Ds started to teeth at 8 weeks and didn't cut his first tooth until he was 6 months old!!! He cut 2 in 8 days and then it took another 6 months to get 2 more!!!

I think we're in the beginning stages over here too! DS is 4 months old and just this week started waking up several times a night... he had previously been sleeping through, 6-7 hours. When he wakes up I can tell the cry is different... nothing soothes him except nursing. What do you guys do for your LOs in the middle of the night??

i was just there too. a week before xmas, our ped said that she would have a tooth by xmas (but that some babies take 3 weeks). well, lucky me, my DD was one who took 3 weeks. she just cut her first one this week. the 2nd came out the other day. but they are both barely above the gum. but her night wakings and crankiness have gone down considerably. hang in there!

I would like to know too - we are in the same boat! DS was STTN and now he is up at least twice. Only nursing will soothe him...so now I'm worried that we have to CIO again since he is used to me going in and nursing him - ahhh!

Every week, I think...This is it, they'e coming out....lo and behold nothing! I feel so bad for them. It must be so uncomfortable!

At my DD's 4 month appt. Dr. looked in her mouth at her gums and sadi "oh, wow.. she is teethign already, she should be getting her first one on the bottom right very soon".............................................
Just came back from her 5 month appt." oh wow, she is teething really bad, she should be getting her first one on the bottom right very soon"
SHOOT ME! This damn tooth is never coming out!!
