Melting Pot
i'm going to the melting pot for dinner with some friends. the cheese fondue should be pasteurized right??? please say yes lol.

Yep, you should be fine. You can just stick with the hard cheese options that are always pasteurized (cheddar, swiss, etc). Enjoy it...sounds so yummy!

They make the fondue fresh for you at the table -- the cheese they put in there is usually shredded/fresh cheese that is already pasteurized, and then they add all the ingredients for flavor for the fondue.
I LOVE their fondue -- enjoy!

yup, it's fine! I asked a manager there, and there was only one cheese that he told me not to have (it was a special at the time, and this was a few months ago).
