I think her days of attention grabbing stunts are over and it's just tired now. As a Catholic I do not take offense and won't waste time with thinking about it twice. I do like her music though so definitely don't want to come across as a hater.

Please understand that I am not trying to start an argument, but I just think its weird that when Kanye West took a picture for Rolling Stones magazine wearing a crown of thorns, the bomments was how disgusting it was, and how stupid he was for doing that, however it appears that the tone of the responses to Madonna's stunt is much different.
Just curious to why that is.

i think both kanye and madonna are idiots for the "crown" but its for shock value. and when none of us are shocked, it starts to look silly

Kanye is moron too.
I personally am not offended by what she did but it is disrespectful. As a mother of 2 what are you teaching your children? that it's ok to make fun of other religions? cuz that's the message I would get if I were her child, "well my mommy does it so it's ok".
It's dispicable. She acts dispicable. Give it up girl, you are a has been. Your music is still good and your records sell but you are not the most popular singer anymore! Hello the 80's are long over Material Girl...

It's Madonna. It's what she has always done and will always continue to do. She pushes people's buttons.
I also don't think that you can call a woman who still sells millions of records,sells out stadiums across the world and has a succesful series of chidren's books a "has been". She might not be on the front page everyday anymore, but a "has been" she is not.

Madonna is far from a has been. Her new album is incredible. The woman has been entertaining for over 20 years. She is a pop icon.
Can you tell I love her?
I dont care about all the bs she does, she is an amazing entertainer. Her body is insane.

I meant a has been as in she doesn't get all the attention that she used to. I didn't say that her career is done. Her music is still great.
