Giving away dog food and treats
We had to put our dog down last week and we dont have plans on getting another dog anytime soon. We have about half a bag (big bag from BJ's) of dog food and a couple of different kinds of dog treats. If anyone is interested you are more then welcome to them.

Re: Giving away dog food and treats
I am so sorry about your dog. Maybe donate the food and treats to your local shelter?

Thank you. If no one on here wants them that is what we plan on doing.

Re: Giving away dog food and treats
shelters won't take opened bags of food and treats. I've tried before but I understand why....there are sickos out there that would try to give poisoned food

Re: Giving away dog food and treats
So sorry for your loss. You may want to call private shelters like Little Shelter or even local rescue groups like Almost Home and For Our Friends. Many of these groups rely on donations and if they can't take open food (which I'm unsure of) I am sure they have foster homes that they can get you in touch with that will gladly accept your donation of food and treats.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I posted on Craigslist at one point regarding open food. I ended up meeting up with a woman from www.chihuahuarescueusa.org who took it. FM me if you want her information.
Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
